Well after many nights of reading about all of the good stage 1 upgrades and various companies, I decided to go with Fuel Moto. Their reputation speaks volumes. Just received tracking info for the 212 sst ceramic header, the Jackpot slash up dyno tuned mufflers, pro billet air cleaner and the dyno-jet Power Vision. I've got the Yuma Prison Run this weekend so I'll have to wait a whole week. Any suggestions for installation of any of this? Also, thank you all for your valuable input on this site.

Following with interest, I received the same setup, but have not had time to put it on yet.
Almost the same, the pro billet was substituted for S&S and I opted for the SS 2-1-2head pipe. BUT sound, performance and HOPEFULLy Ease of instalation should be the same.

Also following with interest. I already have the FM Pro Billet A/C and the Dynojet Power Vision. I'm seriously considering the Jackpot 2-1-2 SS Header.

Thinking of doing very similar setup for stage one from FM - Jackpot 2-1-2 ceramic header (not SS), Jackpot Hi Roller cans, pro billet intake and FP3. Other option is to go all V&H exhaust - power dual header with V&H 450 cans. Curious, why are you guys choosing SS header? Doesn't seem worth the extra money when it's all going to be covered with heat shields anyway. Thoughts?

I am looking at the SS 2-1-2 header because it would be lighter than the steel ceramic-coated header. Also, the SS header comes with 12mm and 18mm O2 bungs (in case you ever wanted/needed to tune with the wide-band sensors) and it carries the lifetime warranty vs the 2-yr warranty for the steel headers. Also, if the ceramic coating were to chip or get scratched on the steel header, it could possibly rust.

Makes sense. My initial concern was rust too but I started thinking about it and stock exhaust, and I think V&H are mild steel and I've never noticed a huge problem with rust. Still shopping so I'll definitely consider what you've pointed out.

I just bought he power vision and the pro billet a/c. I can't say enough good about Fuel Moto and their customer support!

Install time was very short and straight forward. I did some research on YouTube and saw several helpful videos for the install of the both the a/c and the PV. I have seen them for the head pipes and mufflers also. The advice I would give is check them out.

I did not run the PV power cord permanently. I am still tossing this around. My concern is the end that goes into the PV getting wet when it is not hooked up.

I am VERY impressed with the improvement in the throttle response. I am looking forward to getting the head pipe and mufflers.

GOOD LUCK!

The main reason I went with the SS was due to the lifetime warranty. I see no reason to expect an issue with the ceramic coated. I originally wanted ceramic due to heat reduction and looked at RUSH. I purchased everything as a package, so that helped reduce the overall cost.

After much thought I think the biggest heat reduction will be achieved by removing the CATS, AND the Big VTwin is gonna put out some heat anyway. In addition, the way I understand it, is the stainless dissipates heat faster/better than mild steel.

Either way I don't think there ia a big difference. My priorities were Quality Sound, Heat reduction, Performance. Like I said, mine is not installed yet so I hope it all works as planned.
I could be wrong BUT that what and Why I did what I did.

Well I survived my 10th straight Yuma Prison Run and did the full install on Monday. The a/c was about as easy as it gets with FM's detailed instructions. The headers took a while while kept going back to the whole gasket thing until I called them. They got me straightened out right away. I kept reading about the difficulty with the Harley cone gaskets and kept looking at the ones I received with the headers and thought, those are flat thick gaskets. FM uses a flat machined head pipe. Duh!
Flashed the new program and did the recommended burn in cycle. Was out of time but managed to get a 4 mile ride in.
I did ride to work today and have to tell you, the sound is exactly what I was looking for. Nice and quiet at idle for the neighbors and a very nice deep aggressive rumble when I'm on it. Cruising along at 75 and heard the music like stock. One thing to remember if you go with the slash up mufflers, don't tighten them until you line up the bags. I selected them because I really like the looks of the mufflers following the flow of bags angle. Thottle response improved immediately and it definitely seems quicker all around. Again, this is only one 40 mile round trip to work and back but all and all, I'm happy and thoroughly impressed with the folks at FM. Top shelf company all the way.

AGREE
The Feul Motto setup performed as advertised. When talking with them about a setup I wanted this is what they recommended, and they hit the nail on the head.

I rode for several hours today, and I gotta say, so far I LIKE. The bike sounded very good, it is everything I expected. Deeper sound at idle, sounds off when you crack the throttle, but mellows out at cruising speed without that loud sound or constant HUM/Vibration.

The bike did seem more responsive and was smoother throughout the rpm/gear range. 6th gear seemed to have a wider power band. No decel pop when down shifting.

All riding was 1up so we will see what happens when I go 2up and interesting to see about fuel consumption. I averaged 33 with stock setup and 50/50 1up/2up.
