Welcome cannukglide- ingenuity and perseverance paid off!

cannukglide, i'm late in viewing your writeup, and can't open the attachement. I would love to add those lights to my SG, and any help would be appreciated. if easier, i could pm you my email address, and we could go from there.

+1 on wanting to get mine working also.
I CANT OPENTHE ATTACHMENTS so if y ou could PM these I woud be pleased.

Sounds like an easy fix.

i did the mod this weekend.
Bought the CD tribar and just used the LED board into mt stock (empty) housing.
Very bright at night and a good safety upgrade.

Do you think it will work this way on any HDI. My wife is going to USA and I want her to bring the Tribar Light Upgrade pn 67774-10. Is this the one you purchased? Does the braking light work? Thanks.

The upgraded moco US version with run/brake does not work as a plug & play on Canadian bikes. You have to cut the plug off and solder into the Canadian circuit board.
I've done the mod for a buddy but all said he paid close to $300 for the US lamp.
I do this at home on an exchange basis for $100 and modify the Canadian lamp housings with 3 led run circuit and 12 led on the brake side.

I just replaced my DHI fender Tribar with the Custom Dynamics I received earlier this week.
Fits: HDI (International) Models ’14- ’16 FLHX, FLHXS. ’15-’16 FLTRXS
(Does not fit US or Canadian Models) I live in the Netherlands...
Item: GEN2-TRI-FT-4 $ 119.95

For Canadian bikes you need
Fits: CNA (Canadian) Models ’10- ’16 FLHX, FLHXS, FLTRXS (Does not fit US or International Models)
Item: GEN2-TRI-FT-5 also $ 119.95

Just replaced mine following the instructions showed on their video

http://www.customdynamics.com/street_magic_harley_davidson_led_taillights.htm#TRI-BAR_Dual_Intensity_LED_Fender_Tip Great service that they ship their products international.

It is indeed plug and play. Before I did not have any lights from the Tribar. Now a red running light and braking light reacting on hand an footbrake. I ordered the smoked version. Looks just as the original one. The electrical Plugs fit snug and precise. No adjustments needed, just replace and you are fine. Be sure to select the correct version.

I have a USA spec 14 glide and need a UK compatible rear light set up. Anything that's plug and play or on offer out there from the aftermarket?

I would recommend Custom Dynamics lights. I have my front and rear turn signals from Custom Dynamics. ANY problems you may have is covered under a lifetime warranty. I had one LED go out, made a phone call and they sent me a replacement the same day. Great customer service, friendly to talk with and prompt service. They have my vote.
