I need some help! I have a'14 Street Glide and have the Rinehart true duals with auto-tune and power commander with screaming eagle filter. The performance is great, however the design of the left header pipe is unbearable with the heat on my left thigh. I was thinking about changing my header pipes to V & H and using my existing Rinehart pipes. Is there anyone else out there doing the same? I like the design of the V & H header pipes 'cause the left header pipe goes under the frame. Any ideas?

Just get the powerduals... increase the performance over true duals as well

This^^^..........It's what I did and it has great low end torque and a very nice sound!

My buddy has the V&H power duals with Rinehart mufflers on his SG and it sounds really good. The dealership where I bought my SGS also recommended that I go with this same setup, but I decided to keep mine all V&H.

If you purchased the complete Rhinehart True Dual system (headers w/ slip-ons) it is extremely important to note that you will not be able to use the mufflers off of this system with an aftermarket header such as the V&H. This is because the mufflers used on a Rinehart True Dual system are designed for 2-1/2" diameter headers where as most aftermarket headers (including Vance & Hines) are 1-3/4" diameter.

Just something to consider as you think about your options.

I appreciate all of your responses. I am possibly looking at the Rinehart Slimline Duals. I haven't decided yet.

I have the Rinehart 4" Slip-Ons with the V&H Power Duals and Arlen Ness Big Sucker, all tuned in with the V&H FP-3. I've had them for about 500 miles- Terrific set-up. Sounds like this is what you want to do.

You got any videos? I'm in the same dilema...I want to go with the power duals but don't know which slip-on yet. I read a lot of good stuff about the set up with the rineharts but I haven't heard them yet.

I would, but bike is in the shop: 5,000 mile service and new clutch. It does sound really, really nice though.
