V&H Pro Pipe

Pretty much decided on this set of pipes for my '14 Glide. Anybody got any connects where I can get it shipped for cheaper than $715? Here's where I found that:

EDIT: I know the description says fits 2010-2013, but according to the part number on V&Hs website it fits up to '16s:

I sure do!!!

Talk to Lindsey at Iron Aces Speed shop . They are a Vendor/Sponsor here! She has always come thru for me and I have this same pipe and love it... also purchased from Lndsey!

Here is a link to their site with the Pro Pipe for $629 SHIPPED

Call them and ask for Lindsey and tell her you are a member here. Also... here is my video on the Pro Pipe baffles..

Sounds awesome Spazz! Why do you favor 2-1 compared to 2-2?

It's all about performance. In respect to performance, 2-1 systems give you the best results... then 2-1-2 systems are next due to the X pipe and scavenging properties.... then 2-2 is on the bottom.

This is all performanced-base.... if sound/looks is your goal... go with what your ear/eyes tells you and performance doesn't matter. Your bike will run great with any exhaust configuration, given the correct tune for it, but you will gain more HP/Tq with a 2-1 over any dual system out there... but you lose the symmetry of dual exhaust look.

Makes sense. I have the stock 2-1-2 on my '09, but really like the dual exhaust look. I may go with Fullsac for my exhaust needs...just not sure yet.

Even the stock head pipe is not a true 2-1-2 configuration due to design. Put your foot over the left side pipe and you will feel very little pressure and no loss of sound... do the same with the right... then you will understand.

The X pipe head pipes are much better in performance... PowerDuals and Jackpot head pipes are two of the best on the market for true 2-1-2 head pipes.

Thanx Spazz...you have me thinking about 2-1 now.

No problem...

I may be sticking with duals on my RGS120ST... just have to get my ducks in a row before I swap out a $1300 exhaust for another $1300 exhaust... lol!

You missed the '1' in front of the '2'.... I would prolly let it go for $900-$1000

I haven't checked lately but direct cycle parts has some Good deals on exhaust. If you Are not in a hurry keep looking on Amazon some time you will find Crazy cheap prices there. When I had my dyna I wanted a set of kuryakyn and one night I found them there for 450 and they usually Are 750. I scooped them up and the next day they were back up to 750 and haven't seen them that cheap again

If I go with the pro pipe can I still add extended bags to the right side of the bike?
Will the "cut out" be large enough to not come close to the pipe, anyone have extended bags with the pro pipe?
Yes... pro pipe is 4" dia. If you use extended bags, you can opt for right side cutout only...

Question regarding the packing on the pro pipe. Mine does not have any packing in it. Is this bad and what can happen? Also is there a specific packing I should use or is 10oz fibreglass good to use?
Thanks.

There is 3 different baffles for the Pro Pipe, they come with the medium baffle, don't know if they have packing or use active sound wave cancelling.

How's the heat on V&H Pro-pipe 2-1? Especially for passenger right side peg? I am also truly thinking about moving toward that since V&H FP3 tech support is telling me my setup is not going to allow me to gain enough HP and they won't even attempt to tweak and now totally ignoring me. I have asked if V&H Pro-pipe 2-1 will work much better and not a reply back from them. I may have made a mistake going with FP3.....!!!!!

Little to no heat from the Pro Pipe... I'm not gonna tell you V/H is wrong....or right.... facts are in the numbers when you compare systems. 2-1 exhaust is the BEST performance gain over any 2-2 or 2-1-2 system, hands down.

The V&H Pro Pipe gives excellent performance but probably not much of an increase in power & torque over your current setup. It's important to consider that the specs of the stock cam will only allow a certain level of performance in your engine no matter how many speed parts are bolted on.
