I love the way my bike runs now but a bit LOUD (must be getting older ) and neighbor mentioned about how loud my bike is so I am thinking about getting a quiet baffle for it. Anyone using that setup and if so can I get some info on how much quieter (I read online but that doesn't really tell me in real life) and any power decrease? I don't want to mess with my setup because the bike runs extremely well the way it's but if I can quiet it down a bit then I am happy, the same time I don't want to sacrifice the performance.

Thanks!

Did you end up getting the quiet baffle for your Pro Pipe? If so, how much quieter is it and how well do you like it?

With a baffle change, a re-tune will be your best bet.. if you run the FP3, there is a map for it. I went from standard to comp, reflashed the new map and after a few runs, the comp baffle was pulled because of the loss of low end torque. I would bet with the correct tune and quiet baffle, you would get a bit more bottom end over the standard

No, I have not as I really want to hear it before spending money and not going to be happy with it...... :-(

I would like that a lot but since there are bikes all around me in my neighborhood and all over the road with much louder pipes I am not going to bother with pleasing my neighbors and if they mention to me one more time this is what I will tell them......LOL!!!!!

I had neighbors that "complained" about my exhaust (actually on a previous bike Suzuki SV1000, a sporty v-twin), and after being summoned to a subdivision Board meeting (2 of the complainers were on the board) there happened to be a county sheriff there giving a crime report, I asked the sheriff if a legally licensed vehicle operating on public roads could be a noise issue, he said that if it was compliant with the law, no. I asked that if said vehicle wasn't an issue at 3:00 in the afternoon, would it be an issue at 03:00, again, he said no. I turned to the Board and said that this should end all discussion about my motorcycle. Now I am president of that subdivision Board!
