I just finished up an overhaul on the scoot and one of the things I did was to add a Ram Mount / Quad Lock phone holder combo to the left handlebar perch. I prefer having my phone on the left as it leaves my right hand on the throttle. The only problem was that there is no power on the left and it seems I only remember to charge my phone when I am on the bike or in the car. I like a clean look with my cabling so I figured while I had the outer fairing off I could run my USB extension. Here is what I did.
This first picture shows an existing hole in the "glove box" that I used to route up into the fairing.

This next picture shows the path I took under the existing radio mounting bracket.

Next up is coming down the side of the radio bracket and down to the handlebar.

The last of the routing pictures shows the cable coming out of the left side of the fairing and down by the handlebar. I did go back later and zip tie in a few places.

The final picture shows how I use a USB hub and the other reason I did this. I now have power to my phone and I can keep using my thumb drive for my music. For whatever reason I find that music from a USB drive works better than from my phone (both blue tooth and plugged in).

I hope this helps someone.
