Thanks guys. New to the whole motorcycle community. Got my license in August and rode a Suzuki C50T for 7 months. Wife wanted more room, and she fell in love when she climbed aboard. She is also a USAF vet. Airfield Manager from 98-11.

Hi Rob,
Welcome to SG Forum and to the world of Riding and Harley ownership. Your lady sounds like a Gal that will not be content to ride on the back. Might have to purchase a second bike!

Low & Slow,

Welcome from Colombia SC and thank you for you continued service.

She doesn't even like driving manual cars, there idea of clutching with her hand scares her to death. I made the comment about another bike for her and got a definative NO! We'll see if she changes her mind, but I doubt it.

Rob,
All you have to do is tell her she could probably never get the hang of it anyway so its best she just stays quietly on the back where she belongs! Mentioned that to my Gal and she took the rider course and had her bike license in no time flat! Things get expensive from there! LOL! HAHA!

Tell her sitting back there is a Natural Weight Loss activity. Of course, that didn't work for me- my wife is already pretty skinny!

You guys just ain't right. Some of those comments would get me slapped silly. Of course, it might motivate her a little bit if she had some girl friends to convince her.

I feel your pain GreenMachine ! I took mine on a demo ride on a friends Ultra and she seemed to be "warming up" to it more.
