I just installed V&H Dresser Duals to compliment my CFR mufflers. I contacted V&H for the canned map needed for this set up. After remapping I get a bad jake brake/engine brake sound upon deceleration from rpms above 2500 and when shifting gears. Was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and what was your remedy? Is it a tuning issue? I called V&H about this and they told me to try other maps that they suggested which I did. I have not done auto tune yet. I had the CFR's paired with a decatted stock head pipe prior to the DD's and had no issues.

I hear this and think it's the tone the loud pipe guys are after. You can make the bike quieter depending on how the throttle or clutch/gearing is used upon accelerating and decelerating, or become more comfortable with disturbing the peace.

Ditto! My V&H Pro Pipe does this and I love it. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Installed the D&D boss fat cat with the perforated baffle a couple weeks ago and this thing really breaths now and is really loud. Probably going to get the wrapped baffle in the near future to tone her down just a little. But yes there is de cell noise but that's your engine breathing like it should.

I have the same setup (dresser duals and CFRs). Yes there is a Jake break sound on deceleration. It sounds awesome.
