Strange sudden torque increase after 3000 rpm

Last weekend I noticed a strange sudden torque increase when speeding up. When the engine achieves 3000 rpm it seems like something was unclogged and the bike was pushed hard, speeding up much better after this.
My 2014 SG odometer is now 16000 kms and I never noticed this before.
What could it be?

That's normal 'till about 4000 rpm with the stock cam. Just turn the throttle wide open, hold it there, and hang on.

They found the problem at the dealer: left muffler clogged up. Will be replaced using the warranty.
