Ok, so getting a bike again after 35+ years without one a guy just has to do a stage 1, right.
My goal was better performance, eliminate the cat and get a cooler running engine. I wasn't looking for a louder bike although a little throatier would have been OK.
So I put on a set of Rush power duals, Fuel Moto AC and Crusher 4" slash with their mellow baffle. It's got a great sound at idle, twist her ear and it barks pretty good.
The problem is it's a little louder than I want cruising. I know there's a ton of "quiet performance " mufflers out their with quiet baffles and so on, I just don't want another set that I'm not happy with. That's why I'm thinking stock. I was wondering if I went back to a stock muffler would their be a problem running the Rush headers and FM AC.
I know it will need to be retuned. I've got the FP3 so that should be easy. Any thoughts welcomed.
