2015 FLHXS w/ 3,400 miles... A month or so ago I installed the HD Screamin Eagle 10mm Phat Spark Plug wires, HD PN #32318-08 (Red Wires). Got them to accent the pinstripes in the Denim Black. I put about 30 miles on them and I noticed that the bike was idling rougher and would hesitate when 'blipping' the throttle at idle. I ended up taking them off and returning them however, I really did dig the color and the 10 mm thickness. I read on another blog that the SE wires on the Rushmores play havoc with the anti-knock sensor. I measured the ohms and found that they did have a different ohms resistance from the OEM plug wires but don’t know what that means.
Anybody else experience this? I'm thinking about trying them again. I'm getting ready to install a Vance & Hines Power Duals and Ness Big Sucker air cleaner, some new spark plugs and tuned with a Power Vision. I'm thinking maybe have it all together for the tune so as a component, they will all cooperate with the ECM. Would like to hear about your experience with this.
