I will be picking up my new 2014 Street Glide soon. I want to go with the Rush 4" tip compatible slip-ons. Does anyone know what the biggest size baffle you can use is? The bike is stock, and don't want to do any ECM or intake changes yet. I thought I read that the 2014's like the 2"- 2.5" size baffles due to the cats.

Thank You

I contacted Rush via email. They responded very quickly. Great customer service right there. Here is what they said....

Thank you for choosing Rush, we really appreciate your support. On the new bikes that have catalytic converters its actually too small of a baffle that can cause problems. We recommend the 3.0” baffle with the converter. No smaller than a 2.5” baffle. You can install those with no a/c kit or tuning needed. We actually don’t recommend a high flow a/c kit at all. Sound wise the 3.0” will be comparable to a 2.25” on the older bikes. The converter really eats a lot of the sound. I hope this helps. If you need anything else feel free to ask.

Thanks,

Guy

I'm running 4" Rush Big Louie's on my 2012 SG, gutted my cat and running 2.5 baffles with Ness Big Sucker stage 1 and V&H fuelpak. Very happy with the power and sound gains from stock
