Running lights fail

2020 Street Glide. Put an aftermarket tour trunk on back with led break/turn signals. Got it wired up but after 30 seconds with turn lights on all rear lights go out. Reset the bike, all works again then repeat.

Can you test the fuse?

I wonder if you need one of those boxes that regulate the voltage of LEDs. I know that I had to add one when I installed some Custom Dynamics LEDs.

You have a canbus electrical system. When you install led turn signal lights. Turn on ignition the turn on you flashers and let it cycle a few seconds. Then turn off ignition power then turn ignition power back on and that will sync your led turn signals.

Thanks everyone I picked up an led relay to put in but now I guess I should upgrade the rest of the lights.
