So I just had exhaust, tuner and intake installed on my bike and I wanted to post here in hopes of helping a fellow Glide owner down the road if they were thinking about having the same work done, maybe this will help. Note: I have never been a person that will brag about stuff I have bought to make myself feel better about the decision. If I am not happy about an aspect of my bikes or things I have done I will always be honest lol.

I already had the V&H slash cut slipons and I went with the V&H Power dual head pipe, SE heavy breather intake and Dynojet Power vision tuner. The bike is running AWESOME. I put 300 miles on it Friday and Saturday with some mountain riding and all I can say is wow. This really seemed to make a difference in performance. I am very happy.

The good: Bike is running much stronger. Dyno showed 10 HP increase and 15 torque over stock (I think, might have to look again). I couldn't be happier with the way its running. I had them do Synthetic oil in it this time around too and for this 300 miles I rode this weekend I felt no heat on my leg like I used to. Yesterday it was lower 80's here, some town riding with no heat. I hope nobody thinks I am lying when I say this but the engine is SO MUCH quieter. Maybe I had an exhaust leak before or something I don't know. But the whole thrashing machine sound that my 103 used to make. It seems to be gone. My buddy even mentioned how much quieter the engine sounded.

The "meh": I probably could have gone with the cheaper HD tuner. I wont be out at the dragstrip with my glide but there were some aspects of the PV that I really like so I spent a little extra. The last "meh" is while the power duals made the exhaust note deeper, I still want a deeper sound at some point and I will probably go with a different set of slip ons.

The bad: Nothing... I am thrilled.

Final note: I know there are MANY combinations of pipes, tuners and intakes and I don't mean to start a debate here. All I am saying is I am very happy with this set up and very happy I did it and it works for me.

So I hope this helps somebody someday. I'm gonna go for a ride now! Take care, ride safe!

Yes, nothing better than a real dyno-tune with a capable tuner: Power Vision, or TTS Mastertune, or a SE Pro tuner (no longer available new).

Glad to hear you experienced the improvements with the synthetic oil. Any time I mention that around here, the village people come out of the woodworks and try to tell me it can't possibly be so. Yeah, ok... You go ahead and keep thinking that...
