Anyone use a rack/tail bag? Witch one and what are the pros and cons of the bag you have.

I use the tail bag and rack when I do multi overnight trips. This is what I use:

I have the big bag strapped to the bag rest on the front side and the small bag strapped to the luggage rack. With those bags and the hard saddle bags I have tons of room. The ROK straps are great. Much better than bungees and you don't risk screwing up the paint with the hooks. Good luck.

How does that bag mount to the sissybar? And what dose your wife say about it?

I have been looking at a few different Nelson Rigg bags.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna have to listen to her bitch about the straps on the back rest. http://youtu.be/9t2hQNqyfBw

The bag comes with adjustable wrap the fits snug around the backrest and has 4 adjustable straps to attach to the rack... wife loves it and can't tell it's behind her... watch the video and within 30 secs you will see the backrest wrap

All this nice luggage on a rack with a maximum weight of 10 lbs?
I love the little "cover their A$$" sticker Harley puts on all their luggage racks. I'm glad we don't pay attention to such things.

Hey BB another place you may look for a cheaper get you by pack is Leather up .com. I have an expandable leather pack I purchased a couple years ago that works really good. It slips over the passenger back rest also and was only like 40 to 60.00. When mine wears out I will purchase the Saddleman or the Nelson rigg. Just another option for you to look at. I don't have a picture with it on the bike I can find right now.
