Questions about extended bags.

I have been considering extended bags or extensions, some with or without a fender to match. Here is my personal dilemma, I don't like how most kits for bags and or fenders leave out the design or thought for the exhaust protrusion. The square bag and out-of-round hole with the exhaust sticking out like an after thought. I would prefer to have a bag that wrapped closely around the exhaust and kept the exhaust slash cut style tips more flush with the angles of the bag symmetry. This is just a random pic off the web, beautiful looking bike but nothing in that fender apron, the bags or the exhaust is symmetrically correct for me. I know I may sound picky, but the exhaust hole size, fender to bag alignment and exhaust to hole alignment is important to me. Is this possible to shop for or is this more of a custom made bag? Thanks

Exactly why I chose no cutouts and went with a side exit exhaust. The only way I would have been happy with a rear exit exhaust is if I reworked the bags, fender and pipes to all fit together.

That looks good. Any heat issues off the exhaust to rider or passenger?

No heat issues at all. In fact, there's less heat than with the full header and Twin Slash pipes that were on it before....for both me and the passenger.

Lot depends on the brand you pick, better brands will fit around exhaust better, but none will have a real tight fit around the exhaust without doing a lot of body work. Here my topshop before paint.

Not to hijack the thread!!! Anybody have D&D Stubby Cat with a set of stretched bags and fender? I sold on D&D but I'm not sure if I will drag/scrape the Stubby Cat. I do corner aggressively sometimes. I was also leaning towards Bad Dads Competition bags and rear fender because I hear the fitment is awesome. I have a 2015 Street Glide Special
