Ok guys so I bought a ebay daymaker the other day got it tried to install into factory headlight housing obviously didn't work. So bought a new mounting bracket. Which didn't come with a nut plate so I couldn't install the trim ring. Well I got a nutplate from work installed the trim ring and now the trim ring is loose at the top. Anyone ever have this happen? If not. Any suggestions would be great

Correct I got a ebay knockoff job. I mean it's nice and definitely an Upgrade from stock. But I just can't get the trim piece to go back on snug. I have the wire in the top of the bracket and everything. I'm kind of at a loss

I bought the JW Speaker 8700 Evo 2 and it fit perfect. Didn't need a new mounting bracket....the knockoffs on ebay I've seen say they are identical....Are you sure you needed the mounting bracket?

Yes they should fit without any new trim ring. What year is your bike ???

I have the HD Daymaker and the trim ring still has a gap at the bottom where it joines.

yeah the bucket that the headlight sits in wasn't deep enough for the light to sit in so I had to order the mounting bracket unfortunately, but the outside trim ring just wont sit right on the light after being tightened.

Try screwing the headlight adjusters on the bracket in to about 3/4's of the way in on all three. Then putting the trim ring on. Worked for me...and fit's better now
