Performance machine fast air intake on 15 street glide?

Installing a fast air intake on my 15 street glide there is a bracket that goes head to head.That is forcing the backing plate to have a gap in it between new backing plate and throttle body when installed I believe with the bracket removed it would be placed correctly.How do and do you remove it There are two clips over it holding on some electronics.Thanx in advance to anyone that has done this mod.

Sounds like something you may want to address directly with the folks at PM. From my experience (previous bikes), they have a very good customer service/technical issues department. Good luck with that.

Yes remove the bracket.

I don't think the bracket is needed on the Rushmore models

I believe you have to lift the tank to get to the bolts for it.
