I was also thinking about painting mine black as well. I like the shape of it with the ram air look. But I think black would look sharp. If things go right, I should be bringing the bike home today. I'll post some pics of the completed project. The only part that is not complete is the front fender. I ordered a tire hugger wrapper fender but it has not arrived. So I'm running the factory fender till it comes in.
