Paint Jobs

Hey all, I am new to the post and looking for advice on paint. I currently own a '07 Heritage .Have been considering upgrading to a dresser leaning to SG. My question is I like the looks of different color schemes other than just 1 color. Where do most people search for paint work. Do you all stick with custom HD works or buy 1 color from HD and them send it to a custom shop.
I am having hard time finding any suggestions in the HD forums
Any advice would help.

I think most people get the one color from HD then customize. Those tins from HD are 5,000 and are a little pricey. I just did some custom pin striping on mine

I think many folks go with the base HD color and then add on. I just had my King tour pack from my 08 painted to match my 2010 SESG. My local painter ordered the HD base paint and painted it to match. Much cheaper than a new $1500 King Tour Pak in Spice Rum from Harley!

I bought mine in vivid black and added the color. I am lucky to have a friend who owns a body shop. Got it done on the cheap. Only charged me for materials. $1000.
