Opened up the left baffle a little

Well, on my previous '09 StreetGlide, I bought a couple extra sets of stock takeoff mufflers..... just in case I wanted to experiment a little.
I punched a good sized hole in the left baffle and even through the cat on the right side with a piece of rebar. I remember making a video of it running with and without the modded mufflers. Sounded pretty good. Until I did the air cleaner, pipes, mufflers and tuner a few years later.

I decided I'd do a spare set of mufflers lying around for the new '15. I grabbed one and easily punched a hole through it. It just happened to be the left side.
So I grab the other one (right) and notice the heft it had. Forgot the cat was in the older right side muffler.
So, I simply put the stock '15 right muffler back on (no cat) and now I'm running a hole punched in the left and stock right.
Now to get a non-cat header pipe.

Went for a little test spin...... at idle, most of the exhaust still goes out the right side, but I'm sure with some pressure (under load) it might even out a bit with the new larger exit on the left.

Sounds like your experimenting also.. It seemed to me that the exhaust velocity plays a key role in the bottom/mid power of my 103 c.inch and with more flow through my right side pipe it would have hindered that somewhat as the left side slip-on after the crossover pipe has less flow already so opening up that side would further reduce needed backpressure. I have de-catted headpipe and full boar slip-ons that I initially got with the 2 1/2 inch baffles but had lost a tremendous amount of bottom/mid range power. So I installed 2 inch baffles with a experimental X shape near end of muffler opening (seems to have REALLY improved bottom/mid power), stage-1 a/c and the FL-VIED-10 fuel management @ 65% and so far the results are all positive. My dealer told me the stage-1 package would be near $2300. ouch! My experimenting including the extra baffles from Zippers for only $45 was Grand total $695.00 Look forward to seeing your progress and SG's rule.. I loved my '91 FLSTC and my '02 FLSTS but the Glide is my favorite.
I have also seen mentioned a company that sells slip-ons with 2" right baffle and a 1 3/4" left baffle for the difference in exhaust pressure.

Yep, I've run my '09 with little to no backpressure before the tuner and pipes/mufflers. I lost a lot of bottom end. Didn't like it at all, so I went with a tuner and pipe/muffler combo from Kuryakyn. That bike is now gone and I'm wanting to play with this one now.

I was really pleased with my TC88 '01 ElectraGlide Police Bike that was chock full of Screamin' Eagle stuff. That thing would scoot!!!! Sounded good, too.

I'm quite impressed with the 2015's stock 103 pulling power... just wanting to wake it up a bit. No major mods for me on this one.
I'm also thinking quiet, too.

On the cheap, I'm thinking a gutted stock header pipe (for cooling) and modded stock mufflers or some used Screamin' Eagles with Screamin' Eagle air filter in the stock housing and an auto tuner of some sort.

Nice, I also just 2 weeks ago installed a stock de-catted headpipe with full boar slip ons. The 2 1/2" baffles that I got them with were too much flow (and I read 1 3/4-2 inch for the e.f.I. models and the larger baffles were for carbs) so I put the 2 inch baffles in that were only $45 from Zippers. Huge improvement in bottom and mid. I know I am getting old....er cuz I think I already rambled about this.lol I learned today that the NGK plugs (1 step cooler) really don't get along with the 2015 103ci. I put my stock plugs back in and WaLa back in business. I don't want to be a FL-VIED salesman but the more I learn about them the happier I am with how inexpensive they were.
You seem to be having a real good time playing with your bike too. very nice
p.s. the brand new Full Boar slip-ons wer only $241.00 at j&p cycle
