Recently bought my first Harley, 2017 SGS. I have been impressed with Harley starting with the 2014 rushmore project. Before that my thought on a Harley was a loud oil dripping expensive machine. Then they finally went further in 2017 with the M8. I am truly impressed with this bike. My former bike was a Goldwing. Don't get me wrong the GW was a wonderful bike but the riding position never set well with me. I have already added V&H slipons, rider and passenger back rest, Passenger foot rest and highway pegs. Look forward to gathering a wealth of information on this forum.

After 45 years of riding everything but H-D, I felt the same way. Moved to East TN from South Florida and rented a SGS just to try it out. Purchased a 2016 SGS that evening. 13 months and 49,750 miles later I traded it in on a 2018 SGS, 16,400 miles later I could not be happier. Even bought my wife a 2017 VRod to replace her Honda VFR. Life is good and we both are enjoying our new rides.
