I was surprised that the factory front fender is just tin

Question- Does the front tire have to be removed to install or does it slide in between the forks? What about Adapters??

Slides over the top of tyre
Heaps of room for a spanner for new fender nuts

That's a nice looking fender, can I ask where you got it from? Is it metal?

Yes about 4mm plate steel a big difference over the factory tin one
Will post the manufacturers name when I get home
I bought it through a local Indy dealer who got it in for me

Russ Wernimont Designs is the brand of the new fender
It comes with polished aluminum spacers and pre drilled

Looks good.....most of the bodywork for Harley is lightweight metal.... I'm wondering about the Klockwerks quality, if its the same as Harley or better?

i have a klock werks front fender on my blue breakout and i have to say that it is hands down 100 x better than factory sheet metal. You could almost even sit on it without any worries but who would. If any doubts on purchasing there products buy with ease.

Got mine from klockwerks and it is a lot thicker and sturdier than HD and Russ W. Painted at factory match.com

Very nice! For those on here that would consider doing the same, how about posting part number for fender and mounting hardware if used. I see there are several versions/styles for this product.
