Just curious if any one has run some of the amazon led headlamps in the 2019 yet. I haven't found one that list 2019 model yet so I don't know if they fit. Harleys headlamps suck. you would think for as much as I paid for bike they could have decent headlight.

Pretty sure it's a standard 7 inch headlight so there is a lot of choices out there. Have the JW Speaker E2 myself.

I've fitted JW, worth the money and better than any of HD's options

Its been common knowledge that JW Speaker makes the Harley daymaker

That may be the case, but their own brand products e.g. Adaptive, are superior to whatever's available via HD.

Have been hanging back a while to see how these work for everybody and reading reviews. Will upgrade one of these days as I really like this E2. I have had to replace the light once because the high beam stopped working. Simple call the retailer I got the first one from and free replacement and send the old one back.

Does anyone know what the direct replacement bulb is? I bought an H11/H9 and they don't fit, the prongs are too wide. I cannot find the factory bulb list anywhere... maybe I'm going blind in my old age. 😎

Thanks

It's H9 & H11 but the prongs are more narrow on the stock bulb connector than the H9/H11 I purchased. I had to bend one prong in a little on the after market LED bulb connector to make them work.

bought led bulbs for my 16 streetglide and just put them in my 19 streetglide got them from paradise lights ed nollmann 813-713-5700 yes he sells on amazon too

I purchased the DOT approved black LED headlight from Amazon by “LX-Light”. Price was $55.99. Prime item. I also purchased the Headlight wire harness adapter for 2014-2016 (that is how it is listed on Amazon) required for the installation on my 2019 FLHXS Street Glide Special. The installation was very easy. Probably 30 minutes. All fit well and required no modification or trimming. Light worked well on first try, no messages or warning lights. I rode the bike up the street and back (1/2 mile) once dark and I certainly had improved lighting opposed to stock light. Previous to the 2019 I had a 2014 FLHXS which had H-D daymaker and auxiliary H-D lites with day makers LEDs installed. No comparison, the 2014 lit up the world but I spent $1700 for that setup. My 2019 is a “good bit” brighter for $55.00

Update on Amazon bulb I bought. Feb 4 and light has completely failed. Junk!

Thanks for the offer Streetglide16. I only have the headlight. No aux lites. Still contemplating what I want to do. What do you have and what is your asking price. I do want a bulb with a black background.

After buying the Amazon cheapo LED and it failing in two months I said what the hell. I went all out and purchased the newest JW Speaker adaptive LED headlight for my '19 Street Glide FLHXS. The new bulb did require the adapter from Harley but that is not all. Besides the harness coming off the bulb there was one additional red wire, about a 14 gauge or so. I had to hook it up to a power source on the bike. It is needed to provide power to the gyro in the new light bulb that reads lean angle and illuminates additional bulbs (LEDs) around the periphery of the headlamp while in turns. I didn't know what the red wire was for because the lamp came with no instructions. I went to the local HD dealer and got the instructions out of one of their adaptive bulbs while buying the pigtail adapter. As stated in the instructions for the install the it also instructed a BCM reflash was required. With that being the case, I said what the hell and had the dealer install the light, attach the red wire to power, and flash the BCM. It works great now. Looks bad ass with the black background going with the blacked out bike AND, I lightened a tremendous load of cash of my wallet. It is so easy to carry around now.
