On my 2016. I didn't want high bars and like the stock mirrors. I just wanted my arms extended more, and my hands at a straighter angle.
So easy it was scary. With the smaller plugs on the 2016, I didn't even have to take plugs apart to get the wiring through.

Took about 3 hours total.

Looks great, exactly what I'm considering ... I like the stock mirrors too and the wind protection the fairing offer.

Hey O's Fan.

I don't want to go any higher than I need to. I am trying to get relief from both elbow having golfers or tennis elbow(tendinitis). The stock bars are absolutely horrible for my condition. What was your reasoning for going with slightly higher than stock bars? Has the feel of the riding position drastically changed or could and should I go to the 10" bar? I don't want to have to extend the wiring and don't want my hands above the fairing. What are your thoughts and thanks!

I HATE the pullback of the stock bars on my bike. These look much better! I too want to keep the stock mirrors, but don't want the farther reach. I wonder if I went with the 10" version and pulled them back towards me, if I could still use the stock mirrors (since they wouldn't be installed straight up how most people do it)...

Hands out of the wind. I lost the inside lower corners of the mirrors to my hands.
Higher bars were better for my elbow position.. I'm a longer torso guy with 37 1/2 sleeve lengths.
Hope the new pic helps, and sorry for the slow reply.

My feel of control of the bike is 100% improved. Low speed control in parking lots and stop and go traffic is awesome.
My elbows are just slightly bent and I no longer have the wrist pain I experienced after and during a longer ride.
I would not like the bars any higher.
