Well I have all the parts, hopefully I can find the time this week to do the install.

Got the Vance & Hines Power Duals, High-Output slipons, FP3, and H-D high-flow filter kit that fits in the stock cover. Dealer gave me 15% off on everything, saved me some money! I can't wait to feel and hear the difference with this Stage I setup; I'll post a follow-up review by the end of the week :D

I have almost exactly this set-up (except HD Street Canons) and it will definitely wake your bike up.....get going man what are you waiting for?? :)

Its a great setup.... you will love it! The only thing is.... the HO slipons may reduce your low end torque since the HO series are truly designed for the modified engines. The PD headpipe will surely make up for some of that.

I'm on the fence of going back to 2-1-2 with PD and V/H 450 Destroyers... sigh.... decisions, decisions.... lol!

Haha Paul, today is my wife's b'day, I can't afford to do any wrenching today! Besides, the FP3 won't arrive until later this week. I want to have everything installed and at least basically tuned before the 4th, taking the following week off and need to ride this beast lol!

Spazz- do you really think my low-end torque will be reduced from stock? That's not good news. Should I consider cams? Or look into different slip-ons?

I have to assume so....even though they say it will work with stock motors ( which they will but not to the best of their ability w/o a modified engine)..... this is straight from V/H website:

HI-OUTPUT SLIP-ONS

Designed specifically to address the needs of tuned motors built for high horsepower applications, (hi compression, large displacement, big cams). Every aspect of the Hi-Output slip-on's design is singularly focused to yield maximum horsepower by improving the volumetric efficiency of heavily modified engines as well as stock. Race quality black ceramic or chrome. Compatible with Dresser duals, Power Duals and CVO drop skirt

I can't tell you what to do... but personally I would not run them without a modified engine.... I don't think a Stage 1 is enough for them to be honest. Sure it will run better than stock, no doubt about it... sorry if I confused you with that. I was trying to convey that with more back pressure within the exhaust ( more than the HO pipes can achieve ) you will have better torque on the bottom end.

I just posted a review of my pro pipe baffle differences which explains what I just said... less back pressure will reduce torque unless you have mods to compensate for it.. cams, etc..... my bike runs better with a standard baffle than a competition ( flow thru design for racing ) baffle.

No worries; I ain't skeerd ;)

Sounds like I need to do cam research sometime down the road to realize the full potential of this exhaust setup- I'm totally fine with that.

Hit up Baggerjay... he has done a fair amount of research on cams for his sled

I have the Fullsac head pipe, HP3, HD AC, and the V & H High Output's on my '14. I found they they were way to loud and had a big loss of low end power. I bought the quite baffles, and got my low end back. The bike is now quieter, but it will still set off car alarms.
Have fun with the new pipes. 😎

Thanks for adding your input with your experience....much appreciated. It will definitely help others I their decisions

RonWa - I'm probably going get a set of those quiet baffles; I ended up doing the same thing when I put V&H Short Shots on my Sportster. Between those and appropriate cams, this should be a very nice runner, hopefully lots of low-end grunt.

RV, if I was doing it again I would go with Monster Rounds and standard baffles. The Rounds will be a little louder than the HO's with the quiet baffles and will give you enough pack pressure.

I like the look of the High-Output and very happy with the performance, so both are great options.

Is what it is at this point - I had to open the box and take a peek, so it must be meant to be ;)

I removed the OE exhaust today; tomorrow will start the installation phase:

I also just changed out exhaust yesterday and only thing I thought a bit tedious was seating the new headpipes in. I did mangle the existing back gasket but had bought 2 just in case.Getting the mounting tab on the stock de-catted pipe under the bracket was my sticking point until I simply loosened it enough to seat the pipes and roll them under into place. Then tightened the support back to frame with a homemade stubby allen wrench. Your set-up looks very nice for working. I did mine all on floor because I sold my jack with my springer last year thinking I wouldn't have another bike for a long time.
I look forward to hearing your results and all my info is on the 2015 with Full Boar Muffs thread.
Good going to you.

I just installed the V&H Power Duals last week. I have Rinehart 4" Slip-ons and an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air filter kit (retained the OEM air cleaner cover), and tuned it all with an FP-3. Putting the header pipe on was not the easiest- trouble rolling the header into the exhaust opening, while keeping the pipe bracket as loose as possible. Got it together though, and no leaks. The FP3 is tuning for dummies- a piece of cake, and the results? Heavier, deeper, more aggressive note on the Rineharts, and no throttle lag, and the power pull in the 2,500- 5,000 rpm range is stunning. This was the first performance mod I have done to my 2015 FLXHS, and it is top freakin notch! Total for all was about $1,100. Worth every penny- STURGIS READY!!!

You did it right Klmack ! You'll get more kick out of it now for sure!

Finally done. I'm definitely going to get the Q-baffles for the slip-ons! But I'm a happy camper. Love the low, deep tone of these Hi-outputs, and the headers look fantastic.

The FP3 truly is amazing, worth every penny. Took a 50 mile ride today with the canned map from V&H, then another 15 or so with the "Auto-tune" function enabled. After th first auto tune, there was very little decal pop; after the 2nd 150-mile run, man this thing is 95% dialed in.

Next step: cams

Looks great!!! congrats! The FP3 is a powerhouse when it comes to simplicity.... good job!

You guys are doing some really good work on those bikes! I like reading about your efforts.

I'm glad you're happy with the sound, I great with the baffles too.. You just get to enjoy the music :)
