Happy 4th Everybody!! Although I'm not a vet...I have the utmost RESPECT for ALL that are or were. My Dad served in Korea and Father in law in pacific WII. My Grandmothers brother was lost in a B-25. His remains were not found untill last year in the Jungles of Rabaul. Not having any closure on Jack was hard on my grandmother her whole life. She was 101 when she received the call his remains were found and being shipped to her for burial. She requested he be interred in a military Cemetary with his crew. They were. Ruth died shortly after she flew to Rabaul to visit his grave. Passed at peace.
We need to always remember that some fight for the things we all enjoy.. The Flag is for all. I truly hope the current and further generations never forget where their freedom actually comes from and who died for it..
