Headlight Upgrade? Kuryakyn or Hogworkz?

New to the forum, need some testimonials for the headlight upgrade. Iv'e been doing research and have it narrowed down to either the Hogworkz Daymaker or the Kuryakyn Phase 7.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

I love my knock-off daymaker! Works great, and under a hundred bucks! Spend that 100 bucks you saved off of the Hogworkz model and get yourself some LED front running/signal lights by CD. The CD white halo running lights that blink amber look siiiiiiiiick paired with the LED headlight. And if you have the cash, get the CD red running/turning/brake LED lights for the back. You'll have MUCH better rear visibility with them!

I've been looking at some CD lighting. Turn signals and windshield trim. But thier headlight is out of my range for sure.
 
The sun pie light looks great. So I have the cd led's and was wondering how the close the headlight matches the color of the ringz. I hate how yellow my headlight now looks. Does the color of the headlight match the color of the ringz? Or is it at least close? My sg is a '16, am I correct that I don't need the adapter?

Thanks for your help, just want to make sure buying this does what I want and looks like I want.

I bought that SunPie headlamp through Amazon. Took about a week to arrive. It fit just fine and came with the adapter.

Wider light spread and a whiter brighter light.
Not sure how it will last, but so far it's a good under a C note spend.

For those who buy the After Mart headlight. Could you please let me know if you need to buy the 7inch Round Headlight Ring Mounting Bracket? I have the 2016 SGS
 
You don't need a new ring for a new LED light but may need the wiring adapter. Not sure which light your getting but my vote is the JW Speaker Evo2.

HI all, I just installed a Kensun 55 watt HID kit on my 2015 street glide and its incredible.!!! way brighter than a LED Bulb and it turns heads going down the road.. can't be missed.LOL
The only thing I had to do was install a relay and a fused single power wire from the battery to the relay because I got a BCM code I think B2139 and that is a high current code on low beam circuit.. ( the HID on startup draws about 20amps but after that it drops to 3 amps for normal operation)

for those that may not understand how the relay works in conjunction with the HID kit..well here it is.

I used a 5 prong relay.( but a 4 prong works too ) cause that's what I had on hand..
The prong /terminals are labeled #30, #85, #86, #87, 87A ( in my case 87A is not used)
I used 85 as the ground for the relay.
I used 86 for power from the factory head light plug (using the adapter provided with kit) to activate relay (open / close)
I hooked up fused wire from battery to 30
I hooked up wire from 87 to power input wire to HID box.

The relay allows the head light circuit to see something and it takes very little amps to activate relay..( so no over load) When the relay closes the power from battery is sent across 30 to 87 to HID giving it the proper clean voltage it needs. my volt meter on bike shows over 14 volts and even with High bean (stock bulb) and low beam HID on at same time..
The wire from battery passes through the wire channel under tank to right fork area. The relay and HID kit are mounted on black metal plate above radio.. and no interference to the radio.. as a added touch I placed wire lume over all wires. Gives it the clean factory look.

I,m very pleased with it But that's me..
