Looks great and are you using a piggyback device or installed a new e.c.m. ? Could anyone further answer about the stock e.c.m. adjusting after exhaust and a/c changed.. I just downsized to the 2inch baffles from the 2 1/2 inch baffles because I lost all of my bottom end.. Gonna take it out for a test in an hour.

Just got back after a 60 mile test ride and huge difference in bottom and midrange pulling ! Also noticed a big improvement in gas consumption..

When you change intake and exhaust you have to tune it if you don't it will run way to lean.

The loss of bottom end I think has to do with the lack of back pressure. I could be wrong on this though. I defiantly not a experienced engine tuner.

Thanks for your response. I have the FL-VIED-10's installed to add fuel after the exhaust and a/c upgrade. I spoke with the Nightrider company and spoke to Steve Mullen who is the mastermind behind the product and was impressed with the communication. I set them at 65% and also see the new baffles have a (1/4 inch) bar going across the end of them near exit of tailpipe. They have a small bolt holding the baffles in place and I changed it to a long 1/4 inch bolt going all the way across as well making an "x" when looking into slip-ons and what bottom end and midrange I have now ! I also did a full service with mobil-1 synthetic 20/50 in oil crankcase-10/40 in primary-75/90 in transmission.. It did take away the neutral into 1st clunk and seemed farly cool on this 103 degree day.
By the seat o' d-pants dyno it showed MUCH more bottom end and strong pulling all through mid-range.. I do hear you on the lean even as is stock so like you said I did a budget fuel enrichment with the VIED's that seems sufficient thus far. No knocking or pinging and it takes a while to drop the rear cylinder in stop n go traffic.

Went on a group ride yesterday. I was informed that my bike is stupid loud. So loud that the guys behind me apparently could not hear their bikes. Idk don't seem that loud to me. LOL

We have a fella in our group that rides together. He's a railroad guy in his 60s. He's deaf. Won't wear hearing aids. Years ago, he couldn't hear his '99 Road King, so he intalled the straight pipes that run down the right side, equal lengths... Porker, I think.
Anyway, he has to ride in the rear everywhere we go. Lol.
Thankfully, he isn't throttle happy and actually rolls on the throttle easily as to maximize his fuel economy. Still loud. Stupid loud.

Fast story about his riding habits. When it came time for a cam change (Twin cams failed about every 40k miles) he told the service guy he wanted a "Fat Chick" cam. Said his wife was 300 lbs and he needed all the low end grunt he could get. Lol. She might weigh 130 on a heavy day. She doesn't even ride. He just wanted all his torque down low so he could short shift for better fuel mileage.
