Going naked

I have a 2015 SGS. I'm running V&H Oversized 450s, V&H V02 Grenade AC and FP3. Just curious if anyone has had any issues with the naked set-up as far as performance, when you're surprised by rain, what set-up you went with on the FP3, etc. I know the FP3 has a set-up for running slip-ons, but is there an alternate set-up when the naked AC is introduced. Thanks for whatever input you can provide.

87 VIEWS AND NO REPLIES. Okay thanks. Disregard. I confess myself truly disappointed with this forum sometimes. Have a great day everyone.

Well your right about not getting a response. I have the stock cleaner cover with stage one. Haven't had any issues with mine running in rain and have been in a lot of storms over the last couple of years. I know they sell a rain sock for the air filter your talking about but have no experience with one. If you add a stage one A/C to the FP3 tune with your exhaust set up I'm pretty sure it's the same.

Good luck

glideright- sorry you didn't get any response but it could be that no one answered due to not having that setup on their scoot. Members here are happy to chime in if they have something worthwhile to contribute.

Thanks guys. Sorry for venting. I guess I was just looking for horror stories or something (experiences with rain socks, etc) that would then cause me to re-think things. I road to Vegas this past weekend and it performed great. To be continued...

Thats exactly the set up that I am running... I could not find a setting on the FP3 to change AC info when I first did my upgrades. Also, I got a rain sock and haven't had any troubles with rain or it running funny. Sorry for the late reply, I have been on vacation for quite a while!

I don't have your set up, but I do have a PM Fastair intake with the open air filter too. Just buy a outerwear sock that will fit your AC.
