I have a 16 STS, I am thinking about getting some FMB Chopper 10" Razor Back Mayhem bars. I was wondering if it is easier to turn and control at low speeds with higher bars as compared to the stock bars? And has anyone had any experience with FMB chopper bars. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think going to 10" will cause any issues, but based on what I saw during my experienced rider courses, higher bars do not make it easier to turn at slow speeds- appeared to make it more difficult for many because (I assume) their reach was maxed out, which made it harder to turn full lock and keep center of balance in a good spot.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for a little more comfort but don't want to comprise control I'm 5'8" and feels like I need bars a little closer to me

I run 16's and have no problem turning at slow speeds. You do have more leverage with taller bars but the reach issue is a factor as well. I think its more of a being comfortable and confident in your skills as a rider than the height of the bars. I get on my ole lady's bike with stock bars and I damn near crash just because I am not used to them and they throw me way out of my comfort zone.
