Looking for advice/suggestions. I have a 14 sgs with RC exhaust slips on's and the stock air cleaner. I'm looking to reduce the heat coming off the bike and just have it run/ breath better. This bike was flashed by the previous owner in western PA after the slip on's but now it's on Long Island so the altitude is much different. I've decided on the V&H FP3 and I've heard a lot of guys here taking about ceramic coated head pipe with no cat. I like the look of the duals so i think i should keep the slip on's I have to save some $. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

On my previous 2104 SGS I had dual coated Ceramic head pipes and pretty much eliminated the heat issues.

I would look at Fullsac and Fuel Moto Jackpot as the Fuel Moto come with a lifetime warranty

Thank you both, I'm looking into the coated pipe from Fuel Moto now.

I installed the FP3 yesterday morning and ran a couple of auto tunes then decatted my stock head pipe and re auto tuned. Holy cow what a difference in performance and overall feel from that motor. I can't comment on the heat coming off the motor because it was only in the 60's. I figured I'd decat first then decide if I need to spend the $ on the fuel moto head pipe.
