Hello all,

I am looking for info on the following for my SGS
Ergo Back, Khrome Werks 2+2 or Harley Extended Reach Handlebars for SGS16

The Ergo's are $269
The Khrome Werks are $89
The Harley Reach are $159

I am 6ft, but mostly torso and the stock SGS bars make my back/wrists hurt after long rides.

I am looking for bars that come back between 1-3" and curve out instead of in (like the stock bars)

Also do you know if these bars require the wire extensions and brake extensions? Harley's book says all are required and they are quoting 8hrs of labor, plus brake hoses, ext and bleeding of the brakes and ABS.

Thanks for any help

I've had the Khrome Werks +2 Sweeper Bar Narrow for over a year. They're fine, took me a bit to get used to the way they turned inward, but seems natural now. They're inexpensive, and probably would go with a better bar if I were you.

Harley reduced reach work with all stock wires/cable, but they turn your wrists/arms inward more.

I just installed the Khrome Werks 2+2 Sweepers to my 2008 Street Glide. For me they are perfect. The come up 2" and back 2-3" and are just perfect for my reach. I'm 5'8" and have a 34" sleeve length. They are a bit wider than stock but definitely have more of an outward curve. I'm looking forward to my Sturgis journey to put them to the long distance test.

BTW, I did need to install +2" clutch cable. Everything else fits just fine.

I tried the Ergo up on my 2015 streetglide. There is no cable changes needed. They put your fist right in front of the fairing mirrors so you will need to go with mirrors on the bars. For what they are the are overpriced but they are way better than
stock. I replaced them with something higher and wouldn't mind selling them if your interested.
