Electrical problem

Out riding this weekend on a 2012 SG, the computer light and the battery light comes on. Volts drop from 14 to 11, then after about 20 miles the volts drop to 8 and the lose power while running. Any suggestions?

My guess is you need a new battery. Check error codes. I'm surprised it's running with that much of a voltage drop. My 08 Fatboy wouldn't start cause the fuel injectors had a low voltage error changed battery all was good. Check the charging system too.

Computer codes showed "Battery Drain". It did quit responding, guages went to zero, but it did keep running

Dealership today said it was a bad voltage regulator.
