Just bought my new 2015 FLHX and I'm 6-03/220. I'm trying to figure the best approach for getting a little more leg room without spending a ton of money. I already added some Kuryakun Longhorn Hi-way pegs, but I'd like some more room with the foot controls. I'm torn between adding extended heel-toe shifters and brake arm WITH floorboard extenders, OR simply adding a Tall guy seat? or both? Which first? Any advice from other tall riders is appreciated.

I have a bunch of taller rider parts listed in my signature below. Works great for me.

I have the tall boy floorboard extensions and a longer brake pedal from soft brakes and that helped a lot. I am 6'3" and ride a 2014 streetglide.

I also have the the HD 1" forward swept floor pans, 2" extended Soft Bake pedal, 1-1/2" Soft Brake extend shifter arm, and pegs. I'm 6'-4" 250 lbs. This configuration puts me in a Wide Glide riding position with heels on the front of the floor boards and balls of feet on highway legs. I have done this is on my past bikes and it works well for me.

Heck I'm just a short guy at 6'1". But I think the Tall Boys floor board re locators is the way to go with soft brake extended pedal and any extended shifter. That way you can keep your seat option open. I also have a Mustang Vintage Super Solo that moves me back about an inch.

One more piece of important information; the Tallboy seat driver specs are exactly the same as the stock SG seat
