Colormania HD Colors?

I'm looking to get some parts painted soon, I have a local painter that the dealer recommended. Specifically I need 2104 Daytona Blue Pearl, which the painter said is a 3-stage paint. He has a computer to match colors but said it's possible HD won't give up the code, in which case he can only get close.

Right now I'm just doing some speaker lids, however down the road I'll add stretched bags and will need to match the stripe as well...I want to retain the stock look.

Has anyone bought paint from Colormania before?

Daytona Blue PPG paint code is 930016 according to Google. You can also get HD paint from www.colorrite.com

Thanks guys, I found that same code as well, but a little further checking listed it as a 2012 color. It is listed here as well. Just trying to avoid a costly mistake at $200 for 1/2 pint.

A body shop supply house should be able to scan the color of your bike with a scanner to a exact match.

In theory yes they should but most of the time they are only close with that method.

I know this is an old post but or those interested I was recently up in Wisconsin and there was a HD Dealer next to my hotel. Talking with the saleman there we were talking about a 14 model in Daytona Blue they still had, he put me in touch with Custom Painted Vehicles who does custom work for HD. I talked to them about painting extended bags/fender in the stock Daytona Blue Pearl when I finally get around to buying, they said it was no problem matching it.
