Tuesday night I got caught is a friggin rain storm....needless to say my vivid black 14 SG had seen better days. I spent Wednesday afternoon literally polishing thee entire bike. I used that Nu Finish Wax and polish, and HDs chrome polish...it just didn't do the job for me for the amount of time I put in...

What do you guys use to get that chrome to pop and that mirrored vivid black reflection?

Love the Mother's chrome polish. Works great - goes on and off very easy.

Paint/wax - always been a Zymol guy, but expensive.

I'll be checking out that mothers chrome polish...never heard of Zymol, where might I find that?

I have, for the last 15 years, used S100 Detail + Wax. It works for me.

Try Flitz for the chrome ... once you do I doubt you'll use anything else. I use the cheap Zymol on the paint .. works great

For the paint try some 3M hand glaze first, you will not believe what a difference it makes. Then finish with wax of your choice. A quality carnuba will give a deep see your self shine but is not as durable as a polymer base, ie nu finish and will build up depending upon how often it is used. Polymer tends to last longer but IMHO does not look as good. You should use a cleaner every once in a while to strip the old wax build up.
