Was looking at the V&H throttle pack for my 2012 TBW bike. They claim that it will remove some of the programmed throttle lag found on TBW bikes. Anyone running one? Does it help tighten throttle response?

I put
One on my 08 flht. All I can say is wow!!!!

Huge improvement to throttle response. You won't regret it!!!!

Thanks for your reply. I think I will try it out.

I will be interested to see if you notice a difference - have heard good things about these, but don't know anyone with one installed on a late model

I didn't really notice anything...... The lag was "maybe" gone...... But not a snappy throttle response I was hoping for..... If quick rev is your goal, only a high lift cam is gonna get you there, which I'm never doing again...... HD screwed one of my bikes up so bad, thing bled like a stuck pig for years afterward.

On a throttle by wire bike there is no connection between you and the throttle plate in the throttle body. The "throttle response" is controlled by the engine control module. You can change parts all day long and not get it the way you want. The only way to adjust it is with ECM reprogramming software like mastertune or something like the ThrottlePak mentioned below. throttlepak

I have a mastertune and the V&h throttle pak the TP made a huge difference and it saved me a few hundred bucks instead of me getting the bike dynoed again for 1hp gain. I'm sure I need a new map but this plug n play will hold me over for a while until I do my engine work this winter.
