Haven't seen a lot of info on here pertaining to this companies tour packs but other reviews on their pieces and part seem pretty favorable.

I'm considering ordering one but wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are. Mainly going to use it for my commute back and forth to work and maybe a weekend getaway or two.

They offer a couple options on backrest pads and was wondering if anyone has a picture they could share of either standard or wrap around versions. Any plus/delta would be appreciated.

Have heard some good things about them but have never seen anything in person. Wondering are you going to do a lot of traveling or short trips and not much storage needed??

I have a friend who bought one, though a King and it seems good quality. Not as good as Harley, but the paint was spot-on. It seems a little flimsier but not much. If you want to save some money and still have something decent, you can't go wrong. I bought the stretched bags and like the tour-pak, its a little flimsier than oem but after a year, they are still holding up well.

Just mainly for stowing my laptop bag and a change of clothes, boots and gear. Bags are okay if you don’t mind cramming your stuff...

If you don’t need a lot of room the chopp d would be good but if you need to pack a lot I would suggest the king as it will hold 2 full face helmets and then some.

I was shopping around for a tour pak last year and did a lot of research on the aftermarket vs HD as well as what size to get. I ended up coming across a HD king tourpak (Rushmore style) at a swap meet with everything except the quick detach rack for $400, just had to get it painted black and a rack. The swap meet had quite a few some HD and various different aftermarket brands and what stood out to me was the thickness of the plastic. The HD pak has very little flex in the walls but every aftermarket pak, king or chopped, felt very flimsy in comparison. I've heard they have a tendency crack at mounting points and hinges because of vibration and they flex and if you do go with aftermarket you really need to get the metal base plate for them to last. As for size you really can't fit much in the chopped paks and if your going to hassle with it you might as well go full size so you can fit a full size helmet in it unless your getting it more for looks. My main reason for getting one was for when my wife rides with me. For a passenger the king is the way to go due to the bigger backrest and the wrap around style pad, plus my wife always wears a full face helmet and now we can lock in there. One last thing is really don't even know it's there, I can't even see it in mirrors. Oh don't forget it you still have your stock antenna you will need to remove it or move it. I just picked up a short flexible one from Autozone and it works grea. TP-1.jpg
