I installed a stock decatted header and CVO mufflers with packing removed from the mufflers on a friend's 2017 RGS today. Here are a couple of videos for those who may be interested in how this setup sounds. Is it too quiet or is it just right? Let me know what you think. Thanks
I'm with you on that Mojo. I suggested to him that he send the mufflers to Fullsax or American Custom to have baffles installed. I think he would have been much happier had he done so. He was working off of little to no budget for these mods, so this was what he had to work with at the time. He doesn't even have a tuner or a flash on the bike. I hope not having his ECM calibrated doesn't hurt him at in the long run.
