The forks are bent, $9200 damage to bike, I spent 10 days in the hospital 7 was in ICU. If you look at the picture of the front tire you can see that the spacing around the forks is not even. The front fender bent down onto the front tire & locked the wheel up, I was going about 50 mph.

OK, I see it now, ouch. That is the reason my brother and I stopped riding not long after dark on our latest trip, deer coming out of nowhere in the mountains. Here in Florida we rarely see them and they look more like anorexic German shepherds with long legs. I hope you are well on your way to a full recovery!
It happened 10/12/13 at 3:11 pm, still light out, was following a car and the deer crossed after the car went by, Didn't see it until it was to late, hit it in the rear quarters,
I ended up with 5 broken ribs, broken collar bone collapsed lung (left side) & numerous scraps, knees & right side stomach area, & blood clot in right lung.

Sorry to hear about the deer, I hope you're back up and around soon. You have a beautiful bike. I just picked up my 2014 Street Glide Special in Vivid Black last weekend.

I had the Daymaker LED Headlight & Daymaker LED Aux Lamps installed the day before I wrecked it.
I'm getting around very well now, was going to the Doctor every 2 weeks now they want to see me in a month.
