14 SG Gone Black and Never Going Back

Love it. I've been moving away from chrome for a long time. Problem is, chrome costs less than painted from Harley now. Chrome gets dipped a bunch at a time but I guess the painted parts are individual so the cost goes up. That's what Mr. Dealer man had to say about it anyhow when I asked about the cost of the blacked out front end.
 
My last one was chrome and I loved it too. I thought it was a pain in the butt to keep clean, I was wrong.

Looks really good have a friend doing the same thing to his black denim. I still like the chrome so will stay that way for now.

DM1 I know this you have some serious money in that bike already , I know every part on there and the cost

Now I have to change my build cause this was how mine was going to look LOL Jj

Thanks, the only thing I have left for now is to change out the bars, push rod covers and ignition switch cover and I should be done with blacking it all out. It's always a work in progress.
