Debating on getting 12" Yaffe bars!
Pros and cons anyone?

Love mine. 6'1" and the reach is just under shoulder level, very comfy and opened up the space for me. I put braided cables instead of trying to jump off the stock ones or relocate them.

I've got them too. 6'2" here and they're nice. Used stock cables but bought wire extensions. Would recommend the 12" Namz extensions.

Did handling change any?

Did handling change any?

Probably but I did it before I picked it up from new. Also people told me it would block my view of my mirrors but I can still see them but now I look under my arms instead of over them. For me it was a must do as the stock bars felt like they were in my lap.

I have them on my 2012 and love them, I'm 5'10". The only con is internally wiring them.

Love mine. I got the 12" also and can still use my mirrors. Didn't notice any change in handling at all. By the way I am 5'9" and still very comfortable.

Did everybody have to change brake and clutch lines or could you use the stock ones?

I too have them on my 15 sgs. Love the look and feel. I'm 5'-9". I also did yaffe power wedge mirrors, braided lines, chrome controls, illuminated controls and heated grips. You can use all stock lines and stock wiring, although the wire extensions will make it a little easier and they're cheap on amazon.

Those look really nice, they seem like they may be a little too tall and too far forward for what I would want though. I like to relax and feel like the stock bars on my '15 SGS are too low and about an inch too far forward. Any suggestions?

I put yaffe 12” classis on my ‘14 street glide about a mount ago and absolutely love them! Before I bought them I spent countless hours on forums trying to decide if I wanted 12’s or 14’s. My understanding is that the yaffe 12’s are comparable to most 14’s which is why I went with the 12’s. I only had to buy the wire extensions. Stock clutch and brake lines are long enough with some rerouting. I think all I did was unplug the main radio harness and one other connecter located on the right side of the neck of the frame and ran them on the other side of the brake line and it gave me plenty of room.

I do feel a lot more comfortable on the bike and not as cramped. My hands sit slightly lower than my shoulders. I personal think it make the bike look better. I have the stock fairing mounted mirrors and visibility is not compromised, your arm is just above the mirror vs. below the mirror. One of the best side effects of going to 12’s that very surprisingly I never heard anybody mention is that I can hear my crapy stock speakers a little better. I can actually hear songs now on the highway at rebel speeds. The only “cons” are I have to ware thicker gloves on those cold 30 degree morning rides to work. The 12’s are at just the right height that because of how the air comes off the front fairing I feel more air hitting the top of my hand vs my fingers. There is a small learning curve for low speed maneuvering but it’s no big deal. The last down side I can think of is once you install them you will never want a bike without them. I jumped on my dad’s ultra with stock bars and the bike felt tiny to me.
