Can the 12" harley batwing chizeled bars be installed without changing the clutch/brake lines? I have a 2016 SGS with ABS, I have read different opinions on wheather it can be done.

I'm sure others will chime in but you can install the 12 inch bars without new clutch and brake lines you only need the wiring extension. You have to reroute them and it's been done a lot. There are several threads on this site with lots of information about doing this.

Thanks for the info. I have read and watched a you tube video on installing bars. in the video they dont use wire extensions on 2015. they cut wire ties and had plenty of play in wiring. I talked to the service manager at the local harley shop, he said there was no way that brake/clutch lines would be long enouth. I plan on doing the jop my self, I just dont want to bleed abs brake lines.

Let me know how they feel. I am looking at the same bars but have heard very little about them The angle feels good for hand placement.

I was at the Harley Demo tent at Daytona Bike week. They had a 15 Streetglide set up for bar fit. They had all the bars available . It was a simple fit with hinged fairing. I wanted to see how the chiseled 12's felt for me as I've always hated the stock bar placement. To low. They felt great for my height and put my arms and wrist just a bit lower than shoulder.. Going to order this week.. Have to get some dtc codes sorted first
