I have an 09 Street Glide. After the bike warms up, around 3000 rpm I fee a vibration in the floorboards. Stuck a jack under the engine to see if the mounts were bad, don't think so. If I am riding in 5th gear, at say 2500 rpm, and I pull the clutch in slightly to raise the engine rpm to 3000 it vibrates. If the engine is out of gear or if the clutch is all the way in, it does not vibrate. Any ideas?

Welcome from Reno, NV.

So... there is no vibration EXCEPT above 3000 rpms... clutch all the way out or running the friction on the clutch like you described? This may be clutch related since you can make it happen by riding the clutch. Just gotta try to narrow it down and isolate the possibilities....

So there is no vibes with the clutch fully engaged? at any rpm?

No vibrations at all with the clutch fully engaged at any rpm. I rode all weekend and 2800 rpm and up is where the vibration kicks in. I have had the fron compensator replaced, no change. The mechanic feels the same vibration I do but can't find the cause. It isn't bad, just annoying.

Welcome Chaplain,
So to recap:
Happens after bike is warmed up
No vibration with clutch fully engaged
No vibes with clutch disengaged.
Out of gear no vibration
Vibes above 2800 rpm when your slipping the clutch

So if there is no vibration with the clutch fully engaged or disengaged then the only time you feel the vibes is when your messing with the clutch. Correct?
If that's the case there is your answer. I agree with Spazz that the clutch or associated parts may be the culprit

Thank you guys for the welcome! When I am riding along in whatever gear and my hand is off the clutch, I feel the vibration begin around 2800. It is at its worst at 3000. I will be riding a 5000 mile round trip to Sturgis in a little over a week. I rode 1700 to DC and back in May. It isn't any worse or any better.
