I'm going to be ordering a set of 10" bars for my 2008.
I was set on the Yaffe Bars until I read up on the Twin Peaks Bagger Bars.
I'm looking for Pro and Cons.
They have relatively the same look, same rise, etc. Twin Peaks are so much less expensive though.
I read that the 10" Yaffe Bars are more like 12" bars from any other company. True/False?
If that's true should I be looking into the 12" Twin Peaks instead?

I have personal experience with Yaffe's... I love them and I have installed 4 sets of 12's on 14/15 SGS's... ordered 14's for my 15RGS and have a set of 16's to do in the very near future on another 14 SGS. The internals of the bars are all but finished and a lot less chance of fraying/cutting into wires over time. I can't say the same for Twin Peaks... but I have heard a few horror stories about 'look a like' bars not being smooth and many rough/sharp edges on the internals which can cause major problems in a short amount of time.

You get what you pay for... remember that....

I just installed some 15" Burly's on mine, and they went together pretty nice, and I love the look and feel of them...very comfortable!

I have 12" Yaffe's... the grips are just over the top of the faring and I have them pulled back about 3". I wish I would have done 14's. 10's and 12's will make your faring mirrors all bu useless in my opinion as your hand are directly in the line of sight... fyi

I had some 12" Yaffe Bars on my 2011 SG. Made the ride much more enjoyable, comfortable as hell and I'm 5'8. Not to mention they look bad a..

I was looking at getting a set of the factory 47 bars. Do you have any knowledge of them?

I side with the Yaffe bars. I went with the 12" bagger apes and I do like them. Very comfortable and look great to me. I think Spazz' measuring guide is pretty accurate.

Some good info in here. I feel like I am going to stick with the Yaffe bars but the price is right for the others.
I was all set on 10" bars bt decided to go with 12" ones when I order a set.
