Ive been looking at some take offs on ebay
Now the question is I know the CVO's have the cats in the mufflers. Is there any years they dont or ditch the cat in the head pipe and leave the cats alone in the mufflers?

I know the pre Rushmore CVO mufflers did NOT have cats.
Check out Fullsac they offer different baffles for them.

.

No cats in CVO muffs. 2014 and newer have equal flow to both sides and are way less restrictive than the stock SG muffs.
Use the forum search feature and you will find quite a bit of information that has been posted.

Blues

Edit: I should rephrase and say 2010 -2015 have no cats. Thought I read where the 16's are using cats. 14-15 are the good years to get because they really flow well and are about as loud as stock SG muffs. They do open up after a few thousand miles but remain mellow
