Hey guys

I just bought my first street glide tonight. I had the dealer install some Rinehart 4" slip-ons and the chiseled extreme air cleaner.

I sat on an Ultra at the dealer and I noticed that my inside right knee rested on the same air cleaner.

Does anyone else have the same issue? Is it just something you get used to? Do you just ride with your leg kind of hanging off the floorboard?

When selecting an air cleaner, I make sure my foot can be on the floor board and my knee against the gas tank. That requirement many not work with some air cleaners (or skinny gas tanks). You can move the floorboards out with a spacer kit if you don't mind loosing cornering ground clearance.

I have the Screamin' Eagle Agitator Extreme Billet Air Cleaner and yes my knee did rest up against it. I was planning to install VtwinGoodies Floorboard Extensions that moves them out 1" but as hulkss said you lose some cornering ground clearance. I have had them on all my bikes and yes once and a while they do scrap the ground but also depends on your riding style.

Not quite the same angle but you can see the difference.

Thanks Wildchild that helps a lot. I pick the bike up in a few days. I will just play with it as the time comes.
