This thing is the cats ass (whatever that means haha) There is no need for crossovers with this. I cut the Harley Speaker connectors off of my Cycle Sounds Magic boxes and cut the RCA connectors off of the DSR1 and joined them together. I did this because I wanted to keep the stock 6.5GT radio and did not want to cut my bikes speaker connectors off. I do still have the flash I did from my Kicker TRHDP as well. I hooked the DSR1 to my RF PBR300X4 that I am running to my 6.5" Kicker QS Components in the fairing. I hooked 2 channels to the Tweeters and 2 channels to the Mids. The DSR1 will cut out any frequency on any channel you want it to cut out along with gains and Q. This makes everything so crystal clear and much louder since i'm only amplifying the selected frequencies and not the whole range. I will be running a Diamond Audio HX600.4 to four 8" Wet Sounds REVO8's once my saddle bag lids and Tour pak lid comes back from paint. Deep Jade Pearl is not cheap either. Bought a Stinger SPX925HD battery as well. I will put up pics when it is done which should be very soon I hope.

I highly recommend the DSR1 for anything you want to add Amps to. I just bought a 2018 SIlverado 1500 that I will be adding some subs to because the Bose system in this thing is already superb to my ears. Setup can be a tad frustrating since you have to download a plugin for Internet explorer then download the updater then update the DSR1 before using it. All the info is on the Rockford Fosgate website in the support section. Did I mention It is bluetooth and you can adjust everything from your phone or Ipad. I Love Technology

Where did you put it?

It is about The same size is that PBR 300X4 which is approximately 3" by 5" I set it on the side of the amp which sits on the amp rack on top of the radio in the fairing
