So any of you running just rinehart slip-ons with stock head pipes?
My question is how does it adapt from the stock 1.75" to the 2" mufflers. Did it come with an adapter!

I'm looking to change my rinehart 2" headpipes to Vance and Hines 1.75" on my 08 96"

I don't think you can do it unless u but 1.75 rinehearts, they sell them with 2in or 1.75 opening. I'm sure u could rig something up....... But I don't think there is any adapters.

When you purchase Rinehart Slip-ons Only they are designed to fit on 1-3/4" headers where as Rinehart Full Exhaust Systems (mufflers / headers) come with the 2" header. That being said, if you are wanting to run Rinehart Slip-ons with your OE header that is 1-3/4" then you do not need an adapter, you'd just need to purchase the Slip-ons only.

Hopefully I explained that clearly but certainly let me know if you have any questions.

You explained it well. I wasn't sure if there was an option for 1.75. But now that I know there is I'll see if I can get an adapter of someone to make it work. If not. New full exhaust for me!!!!!
